Why Soy Candles are so much better than paraffin

Sorry not sorry...

Benefits of Soy Wax

  • Soy wax is a non-toxic and cleaner-burning alternative, free from toxins, carcinogens, and pollutants, which minimizes the likelihood of triggering allergies. As a vegetable wax, it does not emit harmful byproducts or produce black soot, thereby reducing the risk of stains on walls and curtains compared to other leading waxes.

  • With a lower melting point than paraffin wax, soy candles burn more slowly and last longer. Additionally, the larger surface area created by the lower heat and larger melt pool enhances the evaporation of fragrances, resulting in a more powerful and pleasant scent.

  • Soy wax is also easier to clean, as it is biodegradable and can be easily removed with soap and water.

  • As a natural, renewable, and vegan product derived from soybeans, soy wax is a vegetable oil that solidifies at room temperature. It is even possible to make your own soy wax from soybeans at home.

  • Soy wax is a 100% natural wax sourced from vegetable soybeans, which are one of the primary agricultural crops cultivated in the United States, second only to corn. The majority of soybeans are grown and harvested in the Midwestern region. Following the harvest, the beans undergo a process of cleaning, cracking, de-hulling, and are then rolled into flakes. The oil is extracted from these flakes, while the remaining material is utilized as animal feed.
